🧠 What you'll be doing
Launch event concepts, themes and agendas that align with our mission and objectives around supporting the next generation of student founders. This may include:
Coordinate event logistics and develop scalable processes around things including securing venues, catering, AV equipment and other necessary resources
Collaborate within a highly-motivated and friendly team of events directors, marketers & designers to build high-quality promotional plans
Plan and manage events, including: hackathons (FoundersHack), pitch competitions, workshops, networking sessions, speaker series, etc.
Collect and analyse feedback from attendees and other participants to improve future events
Create and execute strategic plans for the expansion and diversification of our events portfolio, taking into account market trends and participant preferences
Requirements
You care about these values: taking radical ownership, growing a garden of tall poppies, embracing curiosity, and putting humans first.
You are a current student at an Australian university and will graduate end of 2026 or later (all degrees and study fields are welcome ie. PhD, MBA, CompSci, Eng, etc)
If selected, you can commit a minimum of 8 hours per week (flexibility with exam season) until the end of 2026 with awesome opportunities to continue in 2027
