FoundersHack is a 72-hour founder-focused hackathon empowering student entrepreneurs to validate and build venture-scale solutions to real-world challenges across multiple tracks.

What is a founder's hackathon?

A founders hackaton goes beyond coding—students are judged not just on their technical build, but also on how well they validate the problem, prove solution fit, and show scalability. Unlike typical hackathons, it includes founder-led workshops, non-technical team roles, pitch opportunities, and networking with VCs and founders.

Who can build?

FoundersHack isn’t your typical hackathon. We’re creating an inclusive space where technical and non-technical founders can collaborate to build their MVPs. While having technical skills can be an advantage, they’re not a requirement.

Can I join if I don’t have a team?

Absolutely! You’re more than welcome to sign up individually. We’ll help you get matched with like-minded participants by randomly allocating you into a team—so you won’t be doing it alone.

What is the maximum number of people in a team?

Teams can have a maximum of 4 people, and we recommend a minimum of 2 to ensure a strong mix of skills and perspectives.

What is the cost to attend FoundersHack?

FoundersHack is a ticketed event priced at $7, which covers the full 3-day hackathon experience, including access to the opening and closing ceremonies where you'll connect with mentors, panellists, and seasoned professionals from the startup and tech space.
